Lesson 1: Air Filter Maintenance

It may not be big and shinny but dont be fooled! your air filter is one of the most important pieces of equipment on your braaapster! Your air filter the one barrier between dirt and dust and the internals of your engine, if you neglect your air filter your engine life and perfomance WILL suffer!Locating your air filter on your braaapster is easy! On the braaapster pro the filter is located next to your left knee as you sit on the bike! On the maestro, the filter is a little harder to access but it can still be removed without removing the plastics if you have the right knack! the filter on both models is simply removed by loosening the hose clamp around the rubber boot part of the filter! You should clean your air filter after every ride! once you have removed your filter you have to thoroughly wash/rine your filter in a container of kerosine or turps. These products are used to break down the foam filter oil which your filter should be coated in.
