Sam “Waterboy” Dobson
Sam Dobson is a sensational braaap story! Sam, more commonly known these days around braaap as “Waterboy” is a fifteen yr old boy who lives and breathes braaap! He is now Australian Junior Mini SX champion when 18 months ago he couldn’t ride a dirt bike!! Waterboy was a yr 9 didn’t like school all that much, he really just wanted to hang out with his mates at the skate park, until one day he stumbled into a braaap store and since that day it’s been hard work to get him to leave! He wanted to work at braaap so bad he would come in and hang out every day after school and see if there was anything to do to “help out”. Waterboy would do whatever he could to be involved, he would come out to the track on Sunday waiting for someone to offer him a ride on their bike. He would hire the shop bike when ever he could to go riding with brad and try and pick up some technique! Obviously he wanted a Braaapster of his own and in true Waterboy style he nagged his parents until they finally gave in and agreed to buy him one “if he was a good boy”. Eventually Waterboy’s persistence paid off and he got his braaap maestro 140cc and also got himself a part time job at braaap! Waterboy’s passion for the sport and commitment to riding better and faster is a credit to himself, he never misses a braaap coaching day and makes the most of every second he can spend with the head coach Steve! Waterboy won both round of the Australian Mini SX only 18 months after learning to ride his Braaapster! He lives and breathes braaap! Sam Dobson is now a much loved member of the braaap tribe!
