Friday night at the Devonport braaaptrack!, thought we’d drop out and have a quick fang around the new track, while we were riding we had a dude turn up on a RMZ450 and called gazz a pissant, told him he was gonna run him over so gazz told him that talks cheap LETS RACE!!! Gazz then proceeded to give him a whooping around the grass track!!! Not saying that a braaap is better or faster than a 450 but horse’s for course’s!! Being a designated braaap track which was the right horse for the right course. It was no easy feat as the photo depicts!!!

Gazz rung its neck and his own to defend the braaap name! Enjoyed the first day so much we went out for another taste of the dust the next day, the bloke who had been there the day before on the 450, had gone out and borrowed himself another branded 160, He said “right’o Now lets race!”. Gazz was keen to bring it on cause he always wanted to compare his braaap flagship maestro 150 against an opposing brand 160 and thought this would be the prime opportunity! they got onto the grass track and did 20 laps and then got into the speedway bowl (empty dam) and at this stage the score was 2 nil in favour of the braaapster, the 160 owner claimed there was rider advantage even tho there was only 2-3 bike lengths in each result, 160 man said “lets have a straight line drag!”, and Gazz being Gazz said BRING IT ON!!!!

The first drag was a standing start and the second a rolling start, result 2 nil in favour of the maestro 150! Therefore the result being 4 nil in favour of the maestro 150 nicknamed the LUMP PUP. We kept riding and racing, after a couple of stacks from the 160 rider he was in desperate need of some spare parts! And guess what? the braaap van had them in stock!! And proceeded to adapt them to the cheapo branded 160 with a few modifications and got him racing again. And there is now a 160 for sale! Meanwhile braaap Devonport employee “have you got a rear guard” phil “fender” realized that full noise clutch poppy in 1^st gear will result in a filp and a head butt of the frame on the way down, with a cheer from the crowd all ended well!!! l it was a sick time cant wait to head out again headin out Monday night for another ride! Braaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaap!
