The 88 is the ”FUN BIKE” in our range.
With No Clutch, but 4 gears, it’s easy to ride, it’s low enough for kids to ride but strong enough and reinforced enough for adults to jump, race and ride on all kinds of tracks.
The Horizontal 4 stroke engine delivers Smooth Power with a wide rev range for all types of riding from learning to ride, to Freestyle and of course bar to bar Superlite racing.
Jayo Archer has been riding the 88cc in the braaap FMX team this year, as you can see from the pics on the right, the 88 is an awesome bike to jump.
The 88 has been the bike of choice for many first time riders and Kids, we have heaps of options to lower the 88 down for the younger riders.

The Frame
The braaap 88cc runs a full alloy frame. Light weight and very strong, the frame is designed to hold up to an adult rider.
The Suspension
The braaap 88cc is designed for some crazy riding! Fully adjustable front and rear suspension, it can be easily adjusted to be soft enough for a light young person to ride, then you can crank it up to hold a 200-pound rider comfortably. Great for prepping any member of the family for a competition, or perfect fine-tuning for your next race.
The Components
The braaap 88cc cuts no corners with its components. The 88cc is littered with CNC billet alloy parts, from engine dress up kits for bling and good looks to the triple clamps, hubs, and kick starter for top level function. The 88cc has oversized hubs and axles for strength and heavy duty spokes to ensure the wheels can hold up to the rest of the bike’s standard. Everything from top of the range levers, on the fly clutch adjusters, billet fuel cap and breather, to billet chain blocks and chain guide just to list a few of the upgrades you can add. The 88cc has a heavy duty chain, strengthened bolts and threads, and a full racing exhaust.
The Engine
The braaap 88cc 4-stroke 88cc engine is built to braaap specs and standards and is compatible with YX KLX style engine parts. Four-speed all up gear box with automatic clutch. Following suit with the rest of the braaap line of bikes, the 88cc goes through the same rigorous component and metal testing to assure the highest quality. The 88cc is set up for the talented beginner competitor. With more power than the 50cc, it has more throttle response and can accommodate larger riders with ease. The 88cc meets the requirements for racing in the stock/mod classes that invites its riders to venture into the racing environment.
